SAGINAW TWP. (AP) - Saginaw Township police say three men from nearby Saginaw have been arrested in connection with multiple bank robberies.
WSGW- AM says the men are suspects in Friday’s robbery of a Fifth Third Bank in Owosso and four robberies in the Saginaw County township this year.
The station says the men are 19 to 32 years old and were arrested after a chase through Shiawassee and Saginaw counties that ended when police used a device to deflate their getaway car’s tires.
Authorities say the men are suspects in robberies of an Independent Bank branch, a Bank of America branch and two robberies at a United Financial Credit Union branch.
